Oscar’s 2018 – Best Dressed

Ahh that time of year again. The Oscars have always been a big event in my family, we’ve been watching them together for years. I personally have always loved the red carpet interviews and the fashion.

Like I did for the Grammy’s, I’ve decided to round up a list of my favourite looks of the night (in no specific order). Enjoy!

**All photos below sourced from Vogue.com**

Elisabeth Moss

Lupita Nyong’o

Gal Gadot – I wish the necklace was shorter (or non-existent), but I love the dress and shoes

Allison Janney

Zendaya – REALLY hated this at first, but it certainly grew on me. I love a unique look, and let’s be honest, Zendaya can rock anything.

Jane Fonda

Gina Rodriguez

Taraji P. Henson – this is either my #1 or #2 favourite look of the night, closely competing with Betty Gabriel (below)

Samara Weaving

Eiza Gonzalez

Margot Robbie

Jennifer Gardner

Leslie Bibb

Erin Lim

Betty Gabriel – this is the dress competing with Taraji’s above for my #1 spot

Chadwick Boseman – men aren’t typically ‘allowed’ to think outside the box or take risks sartorially, so I appreciate the simple elegance of this embroidered jacket

Emma Stone – honourable mention – love the hair and makeup, not a huge fan of the outfit; but gotta admire the fact that she’s always a risk taker on the carpet!

Who did I miss? Who wore your favourite look of the night? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I didn’t watch this year, wasn’t really interested, not sure why. Although I am not a huge fan of some of the dresses, I like the fact that you showed lots of colour options worn. That is nice to see. I like Jennifer Garners the best.
